China's Cultural Slaves and Eunuchs

Chen Kaige's movie "Promise" is about to be released in America. Same as Zhang Yimou's "Hero", they are all the product of the Chinese despotic culture. Shamelessly singing in praise of despotic values and labelling it as the symbol of being Chinese has become the feature and mantra of nowadays Chinese artists, intellectuals, athletes, officials and ordinary people.

In China, since the first emperor, everyone is only the product of his creation, everyone is the slave of his unified political entity. From Zhang and Chen to Wang Zhizhi, to all the Chinese officials no matter how high they climb in the Chinese officialdom, everyone is a slave of the Chinese culture, including Mao who claimed that he had killed more people and burnt more books than the first emperor and he was very proud of it. Mao claimed to be more emperor than all the Chinese emperors combined.

In this illusory scheme of ancestor and culture worship, everyone in China has become the proud slave of the creation of his ancestors. His or her only purpose in life is to serve this culture, this state, this race, shamelessly with devotion and ferocity. No matter how they find life in China to be dissatisfying, all the artists, the intellectuals, the athletes, the officials and ordinary people invariably identify themselves with what the first emperor had established - Unity, Absolute Obedience of Individuals to the Collective, Conformity to the Cultural Values, Passivity and Tolerance toward Evil, Worship of Power, Relativity of Morals, Void of Humanity, Intolerance of Difference, Detest of Freedom, Fear of Chaos, Destruction of Originality and Creativity....

None of the Chinese who functions under the Chinese system can escape this cage and pattern of behavior. Zhang in his movie "Hero" starring Jet Li, openly praise the brutality and inhumanity of the emperor and the despotism he represented. All the product from the Chinese artists, intellectuals and athletes is aimed at one thing - to serve the masters and to solidify the despotic culture and state.

Chen in his debut of "Promise" even tried to suppress critics from some Chinese bloggers using his government connections.

These are what I have called "Cultural and Spiritual Narcotic Manufacturers". They are themselves the helpless victims of the Chinese despotic culture, but they at the same time devote all their energy and talent to manufacturing cultural narcotics for the regime to numb the Chinese mind, to blur the Chinese visions, to render them helpless adicts and castrated eunuchs just like themselves. The poison in all their product is more and more potent. And they don't have to worry about the supply of addicts. The State provide them the buyers of the poisonous narcotics -- The State is the biggest narcotic pusher.

The end result? The Chinese forever remain to be the "Sickest Man of the Far East", for they will never wake up from their drug-induced stupor. They will never open their eyes to see truth and reality. They will never have a soul to restore their humanity.

Thanks to people like Zhang, Chen and Wang and all the so called Chinese literary saints and giants, the degradation of Chinese has already reached a state that only electric shocks and huge defeat much like Japanese during the WWII (with nuclear antidote), can knock them out of their illusions and stupor.
